Colab Cakery founded in 2015 by Mum, Wife and powerhouse Mariska. Having always had an unrelenting eye for detail and found that her creative tenancies seemed to work seamlessly into baking. After constant requests from family and friends to turn her baking into a business she decided to take the plunge and Colab Cakery was born! As a commission piece in conjunction with Kollab, it was my job to create a story telling piece for this select special Valentine's Day cake. My goal was to capture, display and highlight the craftsmanship within the product she was offering was key, whilst containing enough mystery to keep the viewer questioning and eager.
